The Org Chart widget will allow you to display your team’s reporting structure and hierarchy in one place! Whether you have a very structured chain of command or your organization relies on teams, the Org Chart widget will allow you to display everything in one diagram so everyone is on the same page. This will increase transparency, team collaboration, and clarity for both new and veteran employees.

Option: This feature is only available in our Enterprise plans.

How to add the widget

To add the widget to your dashboard, click “+ Add Widget” in the top left corner of the dashboard and click “Widget Center”.

From the Widgets Center, search for “Org Chart” and click “Add Widget”:

And now you’re ready! Now let’s go a little deeper to understand how it works.

How does it work?

On the right side of your widget you will see a list of all the users in your account. All you need to do now is click on the person button next to each user and select their managers. The diagram on the left will then be created and adjusted automatically.

When everything is done, you can zoom in on all teams by clicking on their manager box:

Voilà! Take your organization chart and prepare it to ensure that everyone on your team is on the same page and the organizational structure is clear and transparent to everyone!

Useful example: If you have a team that consists of multiple departments, you can use an organizational chart to show how each department fits into the overall structure of the organization. This can be especially helpful when there are changes to the structure or when new employees arrive.

Interesting fact: An organizational chart can also be used as a strategic planning tool. By showing the current structure, you can easily identify areas that need improvement or change, and plan your next steps more effectively.
