Choose your graph type
Have fun and create beautiful graphs from our graph gallery. Whether you want a pie chart, a graph from a graphic file, or just any graph, we’ve got you covered! In the settings menu, select the graph type as shown below:

Customize your graph
Once you’ve chosen your chart type, you can start defining your chart. We’ll review some examples of the most popular charts .
- Pie chart
In the pie chart , select the labels according to the different column types in your table. Let’s say we are managing Creative requests. We can choose to build the graph based on the category of the request to see the number of requests divided by category:

You can also select the values from the numeric columns in your dashboard to display. For example, we can easily see the average mileage per delivery vehicle:

- Bar graph
For the column chart , select the X-axis from the different column types in your chart. For example, we can select “Status”, meaning that the X-axis of the chart will show the different status labels in our status column:

For the Y axis, select the numeric value or any of the other columns in your table. You can select as many numeric values as you want. For example, we compare the quantity of books in stock to the total quantity of orders requested:

- Line graph
For the line chart , select the X axis from the different column types in your table. For the Y axis, select the numeric value or any of the other columns in your table:

To customize your graph even more, you can arrange the X and Y axes in ascending or descending order. Simply select your preferences under “Sort by” in the “Additional Settings” section:

- Graph from a graphic file
Similar to a bar chart, you can choose your X and Y axes to reflect the selected data. Let’s say we want to see the kilometers for each category. Once we’re done, we can edit this according to the person making the delivery:

Customize your graph colors
You can make color adjustments to the graphs in your dashboard to ensure accurate data display and match the data with your brand colors!
To customize the colors in your chart, select the “Customize” tab in the chart settings. Click the “Customize” button, and select the “paint bucket” icon next to your label. From the color picker, select the color you want to represent that label.

To sync the chart colors with your brand colors, you can create a custom color by clicking the “+” icon at the bottom of the color picker. Choose a color using the Gradient option or enter the color code for your brand.

Y-axis settings for multiple panels
If you have multiple dashboards with number columns and want to create comparative data on a bar chart or line chart, this setup is perfect for you! To take advantage of this feature, make sure you’re using our new dashboard engine. Select the three dots in the top right corner of your dashboard and select “Upgrade to new dashboard engine.”

Once you’ve added a chart to your dashboard, and connected your panels, adjust the chart settings by clicking the three dots in the top right corner of the widget, and selecting “Settings.”

Once you’re in the settings, click the drop-down arrow next to the “Y-Axis” tab. Make sure “All at once” is selected and select the column that exists in your tables. You’ll then see the comparative data from the same columns, across your tables.

Add standard and aggregate data
In this view, there is also an option to display your graph as cumulative data. This is especially useful if you want to see progress over a month. Each month will include all previous months plus the current month. For example, if you are a sales team, this graph can be used to show sales progress each quarter or year:

Add a calculation
Want to know the average costs, time commitments, or travel times in your groups? Maybe the sum or maximum in a particular column? Well, you can add a calculation like sum, average, median, minimum, or maximum to your chart! It works with any chart type and any column or group. First, select the labels of your chart based on the groups or columns of your board, then select a number column to run the function on. Then, simply select the function you want to calculate!

For example, in the animation above, we want to calculate the average distance that our vehicles travel! We selected the status column “Vehicle” as ‘tBuildings’, and the hidden distance column “Distance Traveled” as ‘Values’, and finally, we selected ‘Average’ for these values. Now, we can see the average distance each vehicle travels in our pie chart slices!
Sort your graph
You can customize your graph even further by choosing the order of your values and whether you want them in ascending or descending order visually in your graph:

Group your dates
You can click the “Select Files” drop-down menu to decide how you want the dates grouped!
