How to customize your globe
You will have several options to customize exactly how and what location information you would like to see on your 3D globe.
Select your location column
Select which location column you want to be reflected on your globe. For the widget, you will need to select the location column from each board you have linked to the widget.

Select the status column.
The status column will determine the color of the dot you see on your globe. This will give you a global overview of the status.
So, if you want to see all the tasks that are “up next,” make sure you have the status column selected, and look for all the purple dots on the globe (purple reflects “up next” on my board).
This will also be the highlighted row in the card view that appears on the left side of the globe. If you don’t choose a status color, all points will appear white on your globe.
Select the display mode you want.
You can switch between globe mode and map mode to give you the exact visual representation you want. Both are 3D and interactive, and did we mention they’re so easy on the eyes?
See the globe with or without place names
This setting will allow you to see all place names on the globe or not, ensuring it suits your needs.
Make your globe come alive with a daylight setting
You can make your 3D globe even more alive by adding a day option. This will simply light up any areas on the globe that are currently in daylight and darken those that are at night while you are looking at the globe. Pretty cool, right?
Set your globe to automatically scroll between locations
With the auto-scroll option enabled, your globe will automatically jump from location to location, giving you details about each one. By turning the option off, you can simply click on each location itself and the card view will pull up for that item.
Add or remove linked boards
The globe widget allows you to connect multiple panels together to display data from across your account and bring it into one unified view.
You can choose which analysis panels, using the following configuration option:
How to change display settings
Make your globe dark or light according to your preference by selecting light/dark mode in the display settings.
In the board view, you can also choose whether you want your Board to Globe view to be in full view or split view. By choosing split mode, you can see the globe and the board itself in the same view as below:
And there you have it! You’re done setting up the Board to Globe view and widget! You can now have a visual display of all your data points on a global scale no matter where they are!
