Hands-on Learning Project
During this program, you will work on a capstone project: Designing an online shopping app for busy professionals. In a series of 12 projects, you will conduct user research, create sketches and mockups, and test your designs to ensure a smooth and intuitive user experience. You will apply UX design skills in a real-world scenario, while building a portfolio-worthy piece of work that demonstrates your ability to solve complex design challenges.
You’ll start with user research, using various methods to uncover the pain points and needs of busy professionals when it comes to grocery shopping. You’ll design the hierarchy of information within the app, ensuring there’s a logical structure that users understand. Finally, you’ll transform your static wrappers into an interactive prototype so that shopping app users can click, scroll, and navigate the app, giving you valuable feedback on your design.
