Internship – a four-part course series

In this training program for the pharmaceutical technician profession, students will take four courses to master the fundamentals of a career in the pharmaceutical field.

Courses

  • In the first two courses, students will learn how to communicate and conduct themselves professionally in any healthcare setting.
  • The required knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the human body is essential for any medical role.
  • Afterwards, students will delve deeper into two pharma-related courses:

This internship is not intended to prepare students for national certification. Learners will acquire basic knowledge of the subject relevant to the profession.

However, to gain industry certification, a more comprehensive program must be completed through enrollment in approved/eligible schools such as MedCerts.

Hands-on Learning Project

Learners will apply their knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements to research the role of a pharmaceutical technician in their state.

Learners will peer review each other’s work, allowing them to compare the requirements in their country with those in other countries.
