You will also learn about common modal verbs in the English language. The course is designed for learners with a basic understanding of English grammar, who are interested in deepening their knowledge and improving their skills in everyday speaking or writing, and of course also for academic purposes. This will be a fun class with lots of intriguing and engaging video lectures.
Skillful use of adverbs in speaking and writing is useful for more advanced learners of English. Adjectives and adverbs are very common in English, so students should be able to understand them when they see or hear them. Students sometimes struggle to bring a complex dimension to their speaking and writing, and adverbs can be a great way to do this.
Please note that all lectures and practical activities are available for free, however, tests and receiving feedback on assignments are only available in the paid version.
English is a difficult language to learn because of its many complex grammatical rules, which are quite easy to get confused about – even for native speakers. While foreign language speakers may feel overwhelmed by the confusing rules, in this course, we will provide you with tips to help you understand the rules more easily and give you plenty of practice with the challenging grammar of everyday English.
Please note that the free version of this class gives you access to all videos and tutorial materials. Peer feedback and quizzes are only available in the paid version.
If you’ve taken all three courses in this series, you’ve learned a lot of grammar in the past few months. This is a great help for your studies or career. This final project will help you process what you’ve learned and help you remember it forever.
Create a grammar album of the difficult or interesting grammatical structures you learned during the workshop. Choose a multimedia tool of your choice, such as a video or e-book, to demonstrate the correct use of grammar. Also provide authentic examples of grammar found in articles, movies, or songs to make the album interesting. This will be an album you can keep with you long after the workshop is over.
