In this course, you will learn how to create data-driven stories – data storytelling – using the ABT (“And, But, Then”) storytelling framework. We will start by using powerful data science techniques to explore and improve your data. We will craft a compelling narrative from the insights in the data using brain-friendly storytelling techniques.
Once you have the stories, you’ll learn to create inspiring data visualizations and build a compelling presentation for business people – whether face-to-face or online.
In the last week of the course, we will talk about customer training. Customers want the newest and greatest digital products, packed with features. But customers don’t want to spend too much time learning those features. Customer training helps the digital organization be more strategic by helping the customer connect more with the product.
Using data storytelling skills, you will build stories that help customers understand how your organization’s products and services will improve their lives. You will learn how to use data analytics and machine learning in your digital organization to create effective customer training so that your products and services gain the expertise needed to succeed in digital transformation.
