Transforming Education in a Connected World empowers change partners around the world by building local capacities for innovation and improvement in education. The series supports education professionals, family and community members, as well as other users, to envision educational change, renew thinking about educational innovation, and implement shared and continuous improvement in their local contexts.
The series was developed by the University of Michigan’s EdHub for Community and Professional Learning in the Marcel Family School of Education, in collaboration with the Improvement Scholars Network (with initial funding from the Carnegie Endowment for the Advancement of Teaching and ongoing support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation) and inspired by a series of reports on transforming education for holistic student development (with support from the Brookings Institution’s Center on Universal Education).
