Course 1
This course is designed for those interested in helping people find jobs that match their skills and interests, so that they can make a living from satisfying work. This course is the first in the Career Coach and Navigator training program, and will provide basic knowledge of the roles of a career coach and navigator, and will introduce relationship management and person-centered coaching.
To succeed in this course, no prior experience in coaching or career navigation is necessary. All you need is a passion for helping people, along with basic computer skills.
Course 2
This course will give you the skills and knowledge to recruit people, complete the onboarding process, assess a person’s skills, and work with them to create an action plan.
To be successful in this course, no prior experience in coaching or career navigation is necessary; however, it is recommended to complete the first course in the program.
Course 3
This course will help you advise people as they progress along their career path; assisting with job searches, interviews and CV writing.
To be successful in this course, no prior experience in coaching or career navigation is necessary; however, it is recommended to complete the two previous courses in the program.
Course 4
This course will discuss how changing technologies are impacting the job market and what to do about it, developing skills for virtual coaching and career fairs.
