Please note: This feature is currently in beta and will be gradually released to customers. How to access AI automations and pages First things first: Where can you find all these great automations? There are a few ways to access Monday AI automations and pages: AI Autofill – You can also access AI automations directly from your dashboard by clicking the three-dot menu on the right side of any page and clicking AI Autofill. You can then scroll through the AI ​​actions and configure exactly what you want to do. Page Center – Go to the page center by clicking the plus sign on the right side of your dashboard, then click More Pages, and finally click the AI-powered tab in the menu on the left. You can now scroll through all the AI-powered pages available to you. Automation Center – Go to the automation center by clicking the automation button in the top right corner of your dashboard. Then click on the templates tab and search for “AI.” You’ll then see all the AI-powered action block categories and templates that you can use in your workflow.

Using AI automation templates will allow you to add multiple steps and change variables that may not be available in the ready-made AI-powered pages. Monday AI Automation Blocks There are many AI action blocks that you can use to enhance your workflow. Categories with AI Add AI Categories when you build a custom automation or by searching for “Categories” in the Automations Center and selecting a template from the available ones: When category automation is enabled, Monday AI will read the text in the designated field in your board and determine which label (if you use a status column) or labels (if you use a selection column) are most relevant. Text Summary with AI You can add the Text Summary with AI block when you build a custom automation or by searching for “Summary” in the Automations Center and selecting a template from the available ones: When text summary automation is enabled, Monday AI will read the text in the designated field in your board and summarize the text in the additional designated field. Text Enhancement with AI You can add the Text Enhancement with AI block when you build a custom automation or by searching for “Enhancement” in the Automation Center and selecting a template from the available ones: When a Text Enhancement automation is enabled, monday AI will read the text in the designated field on your board and enhance the text in the additional designated field. AI Emotion Detection You can add the AI ​​Emotion Detection block when you build a custom automation or by searching for “emotion” in the Automation Center and choosing a template from the available ones: With this AI block, the emotion of the text in your clipboard will be automatically detected. AI Text Translation You can add the AI ​​Text Translation block when you build a custom automation or by searching for “translate” in the Automation Center and choosing a template from the available ones: Writing Assistant You can add the AI ​​Writing block when you build a custom automation or by searching for “AI Writing” in the Automation Center and choosing a template from the available ones: With the Writing Assistant Autofill option, you can provide a simple prompt that will guide the AI ​​assistant to write the perfect text you need for your text column. Click the three-dot menu and choose AI Autofill. Select the writing assistant from the drop-down menu, then enter the prompt for the text you want the AI ​​assistant to write. Then choose the tone and length you’re looking for, and watch the AI ​​assistant create the perfect text before your eyes! AI Extraction AI Extraction automatically extracts and organizes key information from files like invoices, resumes, or contracts. This information can also be extracted from text pages and monday documents. You can add the AI ​​Extraction block when you build a custom automation or by searching for “Extract” in the Automation Center and choosing a template from the available ones: Specific details (like names, invoice numbers, and more) will appear directly on monday’s board pages, eliminating the need for manual data entry, saving you critical time. Access the Extraction page directly from your board with the AI ​​autofill option as shown below: Custom Block With our custom block, you can get results tailored to whatever you need. Tell Monday AI what you need, create the automation, and watch it run! You can edit and test your instructions as many times as you need to make sure you get the results you want. When you click the Use AI field, a text box will open. This is where you write your instructions. This is the most important step! You can select columns from Monday AI to pull information from by using the buttons at the bottom of the text box: Here, we’ve specified that we want Monday AI to read the status column and populate the text column. We’ve given Monday AI the following instructions: “Send a message to {pulse.person} that {pulse.status} has changed.” The more precise and clear your instructions are, the more accurate Monday AI’s result will be.
