Add depth to your tasks with a fully customizable item description. As a widget, the item description can be added to any item in your workspace. Include designs, images, and text just like in the mini monday Workdoc.
How to add an item description
To add an item description as a new view, go to the Item Views Center. Open the updates section of any item in your board and click the “+” in the header. From the views selector, select “Item Description.”

To add the item description as a widget in an existing item view, click “Add Widget” and then select “Item Description” from the drop-down menu.

And now you’re ready to start adding content!

Change your settings.
You can change some of your widget settings by clicking the three-dot menu in the top right corner. From here, you can delete the widget if necessary. You can also click “Full Screen” to work more comfortably, like in the Mini Workdoc.

Resize the widget by moving your mouse anywhere on the widget and dragging the corner to where you want it. You can also move the widget by moving your mouse over the icon in the top left corner and then dragging and dropping the widget to its new location within the item view.

How does it work?
The item description functions just like the monday Workdoc, but is integrated into an item view in the form of a widget. Here, you can use it as a blank background, add personal elements like text, images, files, and more! The item description belongs to the item itself, and will remain with it even when it is moved between boards or converted to a sub-item or vice versa.
