The “Search Anything” search feature is one of the most amazing search tools you’ve ever seen (well, besides Google of course). But seriously, Search Anything will make your time on Mandy.com so much easier!

What is Search Anything?

Search Anything lets you search anything across all your boards! Want to filter which tasks are marked as “stuck” across all your boards? You can! Want to check how much work your colleague has? Search for their name! Want to see what you have to do this week? Search for what items you’ve been assigned, then filter by date!

To get there, click on the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner of your screen as shown in the image below: 1.png

Search for specific updates in my account

Search Anything can also help you search for a specific update across your entire account. Type a search term in the Search Anything field. Let’s say we’re looking for updates that include the word “work.” Make sure to select the “Updates” option as shown here:

Search for specific files in my account

With the Files tab in Search Anything, you can see all the files uploaded to your Mandy.com account. You can also filter for specific files with keywords.

Search for specific tags in my account

The tags column allows you to enter a number of keywords that will appear next to the “#” sign in the tags column. Thanks to Search Anything, you can search for a specific item that has these tags.

Let’s say I want to search for the tag “near”, I can type it into the Search Anything field and click on the “Tags” category, and it will generate a list of all items with that tag.

This is a great way to track all tasks related to one project across your entire account!

Search for people in my account

Is your company expanding? Lots of new faces you didn’t know? We get it! Search Anything is great for finding specific people. Let’s say I can’t remember who Dan is, I can type his name in the Search Anything field and look up his profile.

Search your archives

Looking for something on a board or in an item you’ve archived? Can’t find something and want to check if it might have been archived? With any search you perform, you can check the “Search Archives” box in the upper right corner to move your search to boards and archived items.
