With over 30 widgets and applications available, users can now understand project progress, track budget, assess team member workload and much more! This helps keep the team focused and motivated on key goals and increase productivity!
What are dashboards?
Dashboards are designed to streamline your workflow, ensuring you stay on top of what’s happening across multiple boards. Create summaries, reports, and get an overview of everything that matters to you! Select and organize groups from multiple boards in a single dashboard. Centralize your data in one place, and use our widgets to have all the tools and information you need in one view.

Add a dashboard
To create a new dashboard within a workspace, click “+” below the workspace name and select “New Dashboard”.

Alternatively, you can also add a dashboard directly from your favorite folder. Click the three-dot menu inside a folder in your workspace, click “Create in Folder,” and select “New Dashboard.”

Choose your dashboard type
You can choose whether you want your dashboard to be public or private.
- If your dashboard is public, it will be visible to everyone on your account.
- If you choose the private option, your dashboard will be visible only to you and the selected team members you invite to it.

We will detail this further later in the article.
Connect your boards
There’s a button in the top left corner of your dashboard that shows you how many boards you’re connected to. Click to open the window and your boards and connect others using the search bar or check recently used boards. Click “Done” and move on to the next step!

The box below your list of boards lets you choose whether you want to add new connected boards to existing widgets. This means that if you already have widgets set up for data on your dashboard and then you add more boards, you can decide whether the data from these new boards will be included.
By default, this box is checked, but you can simply check the box to change this setting!
Adjusting columns
If you have multiple boards with the same column type and name, and you want to combine them into one widget to track different projects, you can automatically match columns between boards. This way, you can configure the widget’s filter settings with multiple boards, without having to manually select each column.
First, make sure all of your relevant project boards are connected to your dashboard, as shown above .

To set column alignment, click the three dots in the upper right corner of the widget, select “Settings,” and then “X-Axis” or “Y-Axis” from the window that appears.

<Here you can choose “All at once” or “One by one.” Selecting “All at once” will have the widget pull data from identical columns across your tables automatically, while selecting “One by one” will require you to manually select which columns you want to pull data from.

Once you’ve selected the “All at once” option, a list of matching columns across your tables will appear. Use the drop-down arrow next to the column name to select which column you’d like to pull data from.
You can also configure column alignment across your entire dashboard through the dashboard settings, by selecting the “gear” icon in the top right corner of your dashboard.

Add widgets
Your dashboard is made up of different widgets. You can use each widget to display specific information from each panel. To add a new widget, simply click the Add Widget icon and select the type of widget you want to display.
Check the dashboard capacity
To ensure your dashboard functions smoothly, dashboards with over 3K items, containing only supported widgets, will be automatically migrated to a new dashboard engine. This dramatically increases the performance of your dashboard. You will see a message box appear in the bottom right corner of your screen, notifying you that your dashboard has been upgraded.

We have also set a maximum limit of 20K items, subitems, and linked items across all boards connected to the dashboard. If you load a dashboard with more than 20K items, a message will appear with an explanation and a prompt to detach some of your boards.

A dashboard can contain up to 30 different widgets, with the number of text widgets not included in the 30 limit.
Who can see my dashboard?
There are two types of dashboards: main dashboards and private dashboards.
- Main dashboards
If your dashboard is a primary dashboard, everyone in your account will be able to see it. On your primary dashboard, you can also invite guest users.
- Private dashboards
If you choose the private option, then your dashboard will only be visible to you and the selected team members or guests you invite to it.
You can easily share your private dashboard with your team members! Click the “Share” icon located in the top right corner of your dashboard. Click “Dashboard Members” to invite your team members and guests.

You can change your dashboard from main to private and vice versa at any time. Click on the three-dot menu located in the top right corner of your dashboard and select “Change type to” as shown below:

To request immediate access to a private dashboard, you can click the blue “Request Access” button as shown below:

Clicking this button will send a message to all owners of this dashboard indicating that an access request has been submitted. Upon clicking the message, the dashboard owners will be redirected to the subscriptions page to grant you access to this dashboard if they so choose.
Edit your dashboard
You can edit your dashboard at any time by activating the “Edit” button located in the center of your screen just above the widgets:

Once you’re done, return to “View” mode.
Turn live data on or off
You have the option to turn live data on or off in your dashboard. When live data is on, you can edit your data in real time, and all data will update immediately before your eyes. When live data is off, the dashboard becomes a read-only report of your boards, and will update when you refresh the page or click the “Refresh” button.
To turn live data on or off, click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of your dashboard, click “Live Data,” and select On or Off, as shown below.

When your live data is turned off, your dashboard data will not be automatically persisted. Therefore, while in this state, you will see a “Refresh” button in the top right corner of your dashboard. Next to the button, you will see an indication of the last time your data was persisted.

Filter your dashboard
You can filter the information you see on your dashboard by clicking the “Filter” filter icon in the top right corner of your dashboard. From the pop-up window, you can select which dashboard you want to filter from from the list of connected dashboards, as shown below.

You can also choose to filter your dashboard by all connected boards by selecting “All Boards” from the drop-down menu in the advanced filter window. This filter will include all data from your connected boards in the dashboard, allowing you to see more comparative data than you would in a single board!

You can choose between two different types of filters for your dashboard! Quick filters allow you to filter by board, group, or any of the columns in your boards! Advanced filters allow you to filter your dashboard by specific conditions that you can customize! Add as many as you want, and they will work together at the same time!

To remove the filters you applied, simply click “Clear All.” If you want to see this filter every time you open this dashboard, click “Save for Lenovo.”
