Choose your items
There are several ways to select the items you want to affect with centralized actions. You can select all items in a group, select each item individually, or select all items between two items. Read on to check out these three methods!
- Select all items in the group
To select all items in a group, check the box above the top item in the group, or click the group menu and choose “Select All Items.”

- Select specific items
If you want to select multiple items on your board, click the empty checkbox that appears to the left of the item name.

- Select a range of items
If you want to select several items in a row, first click on the first item, then while holding down the Shift key , click on the last item and all items in between will be selected immediately!

You can deselect items by clicking each item again or by clicking the “X” in the centralized action bar at the bottom of the screen.
Centralized Actions Bar
Once you’ve selected your items, you’ll see a bar at the bottom of the screen that shows you how many items are selected. From this bar, you can perform any of the following quick actions:
- Duplicate the items
- Export the items to Excel
- I will assemble the items with the possibility of restoring them in the future.
- Delete the items permanently
- Move to another group or board
- X to deselect all items

Edit columns using centralized actions
There are tons of edits you can quickly make to multiple items using centralized actions! Let’s take a look at some examples!
- Update status
Our marketing team just finished a very successful meeting and managed to complete the “Initial Planning” phase on 5 of our projects! Let’s use centralized actions to change their status from “In Process” to “Done” with just one click!
First, we select all the items we discussed in our meeting, then click on one of the cells in the status column. Then, we simply update with the correct status, and the change appears to apply to all of our selected items!

- Change the dates
Oh! We’ve hit a snag in our progress and need to postpone our tasks by 5 days. Let’s do this once for all projects affected by this postponement! Select each of our items and then click on one of the cells in the date column. When the calendar window pops up, click on “Change selected item by days” and enter the number of days to move.

Set people
We decided to change our marketing team a bit, and assign one team member to manage all projects running in Q1. Let’s see how to change our allocations through centralized actions!
First, we’ll select all of our items, then click on one of the cells in the People column and select our new agent!
