Looking to integrate your company’s developer board into your website? Want to share specific boards or views with clients without them having to log in to your account? Want your entire team to be coordinated by displaying a board on your office TV? You can do that with the “Share a View” option.

How to share your whiteboard or display
The ability to share a board view is only available to board owners .
As a board owner, to start sharing a board view, click the three-dot menu to the right of your view name. From the resulting menu, select “Share” as shown below:

From here, you can edit the name and description that will be displayed for your board or view, and easily share it with others by sending a share link or by embedding it on a website using an embed code .
To edit the name and description that will be displayed on the shared board or board view, simply hover over the name or description, click the blue pencil that appears, and just edit!

Let’s take a look at the two sharing options, share link and embed code, below!
- Share link
You can easily send and share your whiteboard or presentation via the “Share Link” option. Simply click the “Copy” button as shown below, then you can paste the link to share it with anyone you want. The share link is viewable from any browser.

- Implementation code
The standard way to embed on the web is via iframe html code. To get the code for your board, grab it from the “Embedding Code” section by clicking the “Copy” button:

Once you’ve copied the share link or embed code, you’ll see a visual indication that your board is “live” and published by seeing the blue sign at the top of the board:

Select the information you want to display.
⚠️ Please remember that filtered data (items and columns) is still available through the shared views for technical users, even though it is hidden.
You can choose what information you want to display publicly on your board by using board filters or by hiding columns from your workboard.
- Use the board filter
Let’s say we’re an events company. We’d like to display all the events that are currently in the works that are also considered high priority . Using the dashboard filter, you can create a view based on the exact parameters you want to see. Simply decide on your filters and be sure to click “Save as New View.”

When the process is complete, click “Share” to share it publicly!

In the meantime, your shared board view will only display the information you choose to show.
- Hiding columns
You can also hide specific columns from your dashboard so that they don’t appear publicly. To do this, click the eye icon at the top of the dashboard and select the columns you want to display. Once you’re done, don’t forget to save your view and name it however you want!

Finally, if you share this new view, the hidden columns will not be displayed:

How to set up a full-screen shared display
Easy! To set up the full-screen shared view, just make sure to add the term “/embed/” immediately after “view.monday.com/” in the share link as shown below:
- Standard URL: https://view.monday.com/1………..008f657515eab
- Full screen URL: https://view.monday.com /embed/ 1……………….15eab
So, look at the board in full screen:

How to disable shared display
If you are the board owner or account manager, you can disable shared viewing at any time. To do this, click on the view at the top of your board and select “Sharing Settings” as shown below, then Click the “Stop” button. ⛔️

- Columns marked as hidden or having “limited column visibility” will not appear in a shared board view.
- Updates cannot be displayed in broadcast view.
