How to add the widget
To add the widget to your Dashboard or Dashboard view, click “+ Add Widget” in the top left corner of the Dashboard and click “Widget Center”.
From the widget center, search for “Countdown” and click “Add Widget”:
How to set it up
In your settings, you can configure your countdown widget with completely customized settings! Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the widget and select “Settings”.

Under “Date,” the custom date will be reset to today’s date. To change it to a future date, click the arrow next to the current date to open a calendar window:

Under “Time,” type the time your special event starts:

You can fully customize the units you want to see the countdown in. Check all the boxes next to the units you want to see on your dashboard:
Choose how to display the widget
After we complete the settings configuration, we can choose how we want the widget to appear on our dashboard! We can display it as:
- “Countdown” that only shows the amount of time left in your countdown
- A “table” that shows the groups of items across all of our boards exactly as they would appear on each board. This is a great option if you want to track tasks across multiple boards that are left until the end of your countdown
- “Split mode” (as shown in the image below) that combines both views so you can see the countdown along with related items from your boards
