Import your tickets from Zendesk into monday.com with ease with our “Import Data from Zendesk” feature.

Import access

To navigate to the “Import Data” function, click on your profile picture in the top right corner of your account. Select “Import Data” as shown below:

Then click on Zendesk and you’re ready!

Import setup

When you select “Zendesk” in one of the previous steps, you will be taken to a page that will ask you to enter your Zendesk subdomain to connect the accounts:

Once your account is connected, you will see a pop-up that allows you to select one or more labels from your Zendesk account:

How to import tickets from Zendesk to monday.comOnce you’ve selected the labels you want to import, click “Next.” You’ll then see another pop-up to invite Zendesk users whose cards will be imported into your monday.com account in the future. When you click “Finish,” the cards with the label(s) you selected will be imported to your board.

Show me all the fields
  • The card holder is named after the item.
  • Card status as a status column
  • Card priority in text column
  • Card creation date as a date column
  • The date the card was last updated as a date column
  • The last date for transferring the card as a date column
  • and identifies the card as a special link column

The ticket ID in the “Zendesk Ticket” column is a link to the ticket within your Zendesk account.

Future import

An integration recipe will be automatically set up in your dashboard when importing from Zendesk. This recipe will ensure that when a ticket is submitted with the labels you defined during the import, an item will be created and any future changes from Zendesk will be synced to the item.
