How to set up automation

To add the appropriate Move Item recipe to your workflow, you must first visit the Automation Store on the top toolbar of your dashboard:

So, let’s dive into the different recipes.

Uses

1. When the status changes, move an item to a group

In this use case, video production is passed between teams according to the stage the project is in – between current turn, next turn, and client review and approval.

2. When an item is moved to a group, notify someone after a certain amount of time

This recipe would be useful when items are moved between groups to notify a team member. Let’s say when items are moved between active leads and winning leads, the sales rep can get notified after a period of time you choose.

3. When the due date arrives, move an item to the group

This recipe can be useful if your client or project moves between stages by a specific date or time. The item can be quickly moved to the appropriate group, for example, in the case of this work request where orders are moved to groups by date:

Item Transfer Recipes

  • When the status changes to Something , move an item to a group
