Column restrictions allow the board owner to control which columns can be seen and whether they can be edited. This is very useful when you have sensitive information that you don’t want some users to see or change.
How to restrict editing in columns
This permission allows you to restrict access to edit columns in your board and choose who can edit them. This is very useful when you want your team and guests to be able to collaborate and update the board, while keeping only sensitive details restricted. This allows you to maintain transparency with your team, and ensure that only the right people can edit the right data in your boards.
To enable column editing restrictions, click the three-dot menu next to the column header and select “Settings” then “Restrict column editing” like this:

From there, simply type the name of the person or team you want to be able to edit that specific column. Anyone else not added here, except the board owners, will not be able to edit that column.

How to limit column viewing
With this permission, you can restrict viewing access to columns on your board and choose who can see them. This will help you ensure that your team and guests only see the data you want them to see, while keeping everything in one board instead of managing the same project across multiple boards at the same time.
To add column viewing restrictions, click the three-dot menu to the right of the column name and select “Settings” and then “Restrict column viewing” like this:

From there, similar to column editing permissions, type the name of the person or team you want to be able to see the given column. Anyone else not added here, except the board owners, will not be able to see this column.
