We’ve created something you never knew you needed, but can’t live without. Now you can see the distribution of your task statuses in the form of a meme farm! The meme farm widget will display a meme for each item on your board, and the color of the meme will match the status in that specific status column on that board.
Let’s learn how it works, below!
How does it work?
The Meme Farm widget turns your board items into a game-like display of the goals you’re trying to achieve. It displays a meme for each item on your board (or multiple boards!), And the color of the meme will match the status label of the specific status column in the connected dashboard.

As you change the status of the items on your board, the colors of the blocks will change accordingly. The goal of the game is to turn all the blocks green, indicating that they are finished. Before the due date arrives (we’ll learn how to adjust this In a moment!) . Once all the llamas turn green, you can enjoy a llama dance party! How fun is that?!
How to add this
The Farms widget can be added either as a widget in a board view or as a widget within a dashboard. If you have it as part of your board view, you can take the data from one board and convert it to Farms, while in a dashboard you can aggregate data from multiple boards!
- Add to your board view
To add the new Lama Farm widget to your dashboard view, click the plus sign and select “More Views.” From there, search for “Lalamove Farm Widget” in the widget center and select “Open in Dashboard”:

- Add to your dashboard
To add the Lama Farm to your dashboard, click the “Add Widget” button on the top left and select “More Widgets.” From the widget center, search for the Lama Farm widget and click the “Add Widget” button like this:

Personalization
Use the widget settings to customize the appearance of your Lemmat Farm widget! Settings are accessible by clicking the three-dot menu in the top right corner of your widget and then selecting “Settings”.

Let’s go through all the settings categories to see all the customization options available.
- Select groups
First, you can choose which dashboard group you want to display data from in the Lemmat Farm widget. Simply select a group to display in the widget, or uncheck it to remove it from Lemmat Farm.
In our event management use case, it’s important for us to have a good picture of the statuses of all aspects of the event being run, so we’ve included all of our groups here from the connected boards.

- Start date and end date
You can set a start date and a due date for the items displayed on your lemma farm! This will update the due date displayed at the top of the widget and will also affect how your lemmas look happy as they progress in your board (more on that below!)
To set a start date and a due date, check the “Select start date and due date” box from the widget settings, then select a start date and due date from the date picker like this:

- Goal title
Using the “Target Title” setting, you can change the name displayed at the top of your Lemmat Farm widget! Simply type in the title of your choice and see it reflected in your widget immediately.

- Status columns
If you have more than one status column on each of your boards, you can choose which of those columns you want to display in the widget for each connected board. In the example below, we’ve selected the columns called “Status” from our two connected boards.

- Target point term
Instead of using the phrase “goal points” in your widget, you can choose the exact words you want to use to indicate the number of strokes, or goals, you have!
- Boards
Finally, if you have multiple boards connected to your larger dashboard, you can choose to display data from only a specific board (or a few) in this widget. Simply check the box to the right of the board name to have the data appear in your llama farm widget!

Filter your lemmas
If you don’t need to see all the items from your connected boards, you can click the filter icon to display just the ones you need to see. For example, if we want to display only the items that need to be done this week, we can click the “This Week” filter option and only those specific items will be displayed!

Keep your lemmas happy!
Oh no! Are your lemmas looking a little sad? To keep your lemmas happy and cheerful, regardless of whether the items on your board have been marked as “done” on time or not, you can uncheck the “Select start and due dates” box from the widget settings, as shown below.

Alternatively, if you want your Lemma Farm widget to look more like a game, you can leave the box checked! That way, if you manage to mark items as “done” between a start date and a deadline, your Lemmas will look happy and calculated! Otherwise, if you don’t make enough progress on your board within the set start and deadline dates, your Lemmas will look sad.
We love seeing the happy sounds that go off when items are marked “complete” within the scheduled dates!

And that’s it! We hope you enjoy watching your Lemmas walk while you achieve your team’s goals!
