At Mandi.com, one of our main goals is to enable teams of all sizes to collaborate in the most efficient and productive way possible. In this context, to allow even the largest teams to easily grow with us, it is important to understand how to optimize the number of subscribers you want to add to your board according to the limitations that exist.
In this article, we’ll learn how to best organize users on your boards so you can work together with as many users as you want. Let’s dive in! ⬇️

Streamline subscriptions with teams
When strategically using teams (and sub-teams) on your account, you can easily add thousands of users to your board without exceeding the overall subscription limits.
To maximize the number of users on the board, we recommend first creating teams and sub-teams filled with users from within your organization by departments, projects, or any other relevant criteria. You can add up to 5,000 users to a team and even more users to a sub-team, allowing you to add a virtually endless amount of users to the board!
After that, you can start adding users to your board! Go to your chosen board and click the “+ Invite” button on the top right of the board. From here, you can add any individual members, as well as teams to the board to make sure everyone relevant can access:

Tip: You can grant ownership of the board to both individual team members and entire teams of users once you’ve been added to the board!
By using the full potential of our Teams feature, you can seamlessly add many users to your board at once, and also avoid reaching the limits we guarantee for private subscriptions on boards! Read on in the next section for a real-world example of how to go way above the private subscription limit.
Adding thousands of users to the board
Let’s take an example to really understand how you can add thousands of users to a board! At Mandi.com, the largest board we currently use has 3,200 subscribers. With that in mind, let’s look at how you could create a board with 10,200 members – more than three times the size of our largest board.
Let’s say your board has 200 private members, plus 10 teams with 1,000 people in each. That would leave you with 10,000 users removed from the teams alone (10*1,000 = 10,000). Then, if you add the 200 private subscribers, your board would have a total of 10,200 users subscribed to it – which is nowhere near our maximum!
When it comes to the actual membership limit on the board, it varies depending on whether it is an individual member or a team that is registering . On each board, we allow:
- 400 individual members. With this option, when a user of any type is added individually to the board, it counts as one member.
- 100 registered teams. With this option, you can add up to 100 teams to one board and each specific team can have thousands of users within it! Not only does this option allow you to add more users to your board, but teams also allow you to efficiently manage access permissions, tasks, and more for multiple people at once.

Note: You can add up to 400 individual members and 100 teams on the same board, allowing for a very large number of users to collaborate! Read on to learn more about optimizing your board membership.
We have limits on board subscriptions to keep our platform performing optimally. However, by making the most of our teams and sub-teams features, you can ensure that you can collaborate with a large amount of users on your boards in the most efficient way!
