Administrator roles (Admins) on monday.com: How to manage and monitor the account
Simply put, an admin is a type of “super user” who has the ability to oversee the entire account, managing everything from users and boards to security and accounts. This allows one team member (or more if you wish) to manage their account efficiently and securely.
How to add another administrator to your account
The person who initially creates the monday.com account is the default administrator of the account. The administrator can also make other members of the system account administrators. It’s always good to have an extra administrator just in case!
Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen and click Manage :

From there, click on the Users tab as shown below:

Next, find the user you want to make an administrator. Under the User Type column, click the arrow next to their user type and select Administrator from the drop-down menu.

You can also change the user type through the same menu. You can learn more about how to manage users on your account here.
How to remove an administrator
If you need to remove an admin, simply follow the same steps above and select the user type you would like to change to (Member, Viewer, or Guest). This will also remove their admin rights.

[fact_box]
**Interesting Use Case:** Managers can use the “transfer board ownership” capability to manage projects more flexibly. For example, if a project moves between departments, board ownership can be transferred to the appropriate managers at any stage of the project.

**Useful example:** If you are managing a project with a large number of boards, you can use the “Transfer Board Ownership” option to transfer boards to other managers, so that everyone can manage their part of the project effectively.
