The Popup Card is an amazing tool that allows you to edit the column details of your items from a board from other places! It is currently available through the Connect Boards column, and in several widgets like Timeline, Gantt, Kanban, Workload, and more.

How does it work?
The item pop-up card allows you to see and edit all the column details for a given item. By clicking on any field (column) that is displayed, you can edit its contents!
Connect Boards column
The Connect Boards column allows you to easily link a column in one board to items in another board. Once you have linked the items between the two boards, clicking on any cell in the Connect Boards column will open the item’s pop-up card , displaying all the information from the linked item as shown below.
Any changes you make here will be updated in the linked item in the board where it “lives”, as well!

**Smart use:** If you have items that appear in multiple boards, use the pop-up card to update the information only once. This will save you time and avoid duplication.

To open the item’s pop-up card, simply hover over the item name and click “Open” like this:
This popup will show you all the information related to this item. You can update the information in the popup and it will automatically update in the panel where the item is located.
Kanban view
Kanban is a very flexible, visual, and simple way to organize your projects and tasks, and is one of the most popular project management techniques to date.
If you click on any of the tasks displayed on your Kanban, it will automatically open the item’s pop-up card. You can easily update your item from this pop-up and the changes will automatically update on your board.
