User experience (UX) designers focus on the experiences of users who use products like websites, apps, and physical objects. They make these everyday interactions convenient, enjoyable, and accessible.
Over the course of seven courses, you will develop the skills needed to start a career in the field. The certificate can be completed in less than 6 months, with less than 10 hours per week.
You will create designs on paper and in digital tools, such as Figma and Adobe XD. At the end of the program, you will have a professional user experience portfolio with three perfect projects, ready to submit for jobs in the job market.

Hands-on Learning Project
This program includes over 200 hours of instruction and hundreds of hands-on activities and assessments that simulate real-world UX design situations essential for workplace success. The content is highly interactive and developed by Googlers with decades of UX design experience.
You will learn to complete the design process from start to finish, including: how to develop empathy with users; identify users’ challenges; present ideas for design solutions; create plans, sketches, and prototypes; conduct usability studies to test projects; and refine designs based on feedback.
Through a combination of videos, texts, assessments, and hands-on activities, you’ll learn to use in-demand design tools like Figma and Adobe XD. You’ll create a portfolio of three projects to showcase the skills you’ve learned in the program to potential employers.
