Hands-on Learning Project
This program includes over 200 hours of instruction and hundreds of hands-on activities and assessments that simulate real-world user experience design scenarios that are essential for success on the job. The content is highly interactive and developed by Google staff who have many years of experience in user experience design.
You will learn how to complete the design process from start to finish, including: empathizing with users; identifying problems from users; developing ideas for design solutions; creating sketches, full-size mockups, and prototypes; testing designs with usability studies; and iterating designs based on feedback.
Through a combination of videos, readings, assessments, and hands-on activities, you will learn about design tools like Figma and Adobe XD. You will create a portfolio of three projects to share with potential employers to showcase the skills you have learned in this program.
