Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Programs
have grown in schools in the last decade.
Very diverse, but most focus on five personal skills:

It is important that teachers and parents know and understand these programs.
Only a limited number of programs exist to promote and help teachers explore their emotional well-being.
The main idea
To facilitate students’ social and emotional learning, the teacher must know who the student is as a person.
The teacher should strive to know himself.
Teachers must be aware of their own well-being to help students achieve well-being.
