Internship – a series of courses in three parts

In this specialization, students will become familiar with the key sources of information that constitute the scientific consensus on human-caused climate change and its associated impacts. We will explore options for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and preparing for impacts, based on the Fourth National Climate Assessment of the United States.

Internship goals

  • Provide learners with tools to manage personal plans to reduce emissions.
  • To adapt to the influences of the future, appropriate for their homes, communities, and workplaces.

Applied Learning Project

In order to apply our knowledge of climate change and public opinion on the subject, learners will hold “climate conversations” with:

  • friend
  • relative
  • Coworker
  • neighbor

Creating infographics

We will also create infographics to explain how political action can effectively address climate risks.

Completion of internship

At the end of the internship, we will consider these projects and how they might encourage climate action in our homes, communities, and workplaces.
