Liro, our AI chatbot, is available to all Tidio users – including projects in early testing, as well as projects without a premium subscription. As with live chats and Flows, there are limitations to how Liro works.

The free version of Lyro and its limitations

While all new projects on Tidio get access to Liro for free, there is one important limitation: a non-renewable quota of 50 Liro conversations . This means that your Tidio project gets a free allowance of 50 Liro conversations, and if you reach this limit – Liro stops working, and the allowance will not reset (unlike allowances for live chat and streams). This is essentially a free trial that will allow you to test Liro and see how it can help your business.

You can check your current allowance usage by clicking the Usage & Plan button, in the top right corner of your Tidio dashboard:

You can also see your current usage in the Dashboard category:

Of course, you can upgrade your Tidio project and get the Lirio AI Chatbot Package, which will provide you with a renewable monthly call allowance for Lirio. The packages offered range from 50 calls per month to 200 calls per month. More is possible, but this is reserved for custom subscriptions (Tidio+) that need to be discussed with our sales team separately.

How is Liro’s call allowance calculated?

One conversation with Lyro essentially counts as one Lyro activation for a unique visitor . Lyro can be used multiple times by the same unique visitor on your site, and it will still count as one conversation against your Lyro limit. The free version offers an allowance of 50, which essentially translates to 50 unique visitors who can chat with Lyro. If you subscribe to Lyro’s AI Chatbot package, your allowance will reset each month (on the day you purchase the upgrade). Note that visitors who have previously chatted with Lyro will count against your allowance once more (if they chat with Lyro again, during the new billing period).

[note_box] If you run an online store, you can use Lyro to answer common customer questions, like “What is your return policy?” or “Are there any discounts available?” This can save you time and improve the customer experience. [/note_box]

How is the allowance calculated for Euro missions?

Tasks are another tool available in Lyro, and they can be useful if you want Lyro to respond in a very specific way that you have manually designed. Tasks are essentially streams that you create from within Lyro’s settings, and you can have them perform actions that any regular stream can perform. Tasks don’t interfere with the current Lyro conversation – they become part of it.

If you want to learn more about Liro tasks, please check out this article.

Euro tasks will not use your monthly streaming allowance. However, they will use your Euro allowance .

The way task usage is calculated is similar to general usage of the Lyro AI chatbot, or even usage of streams. A unique visitor who triggers a task counts as 1 (one) that is deducted from your Lyro allowance. That unique visitor can continue to trigger other tasks, or chat with Lyro, and nothing further will be deducted from your allowance.

Please note: If a visitor activates a task during an active conversation with Liro , nothing will be deducted. This is because 1 (one) point was already deducted from Liro’s allowance when the Liro conversation began.

[fact_box] Liro can also be used as a tool to collect customer feedback. For example, after a purchase is completed, Liro can ask the customer about their shopping experience and provide valuable insights to improve the service. [/fact_box>
