The Internship – a 4-part course series

Just as the Internet was the first digital medium for information, blockchain is the first digital medium for managing value. Blockchain is poised to transform the economy and society at large – redefining the ways we trade online, share ideas, and manage processes. The financial services sector is a key player in such changes.

  • The impact of blockchain technology on the economy and society

At the end of the internship, students will prepare a strategic action plan in which they identify and evaluate a promising application of blockchain technology within the financial services industry.

Moderators

The internship is taught by Don Tapscott and Alex Tapscott, world-renowned authorities on innovation and technology and authors of the best-selling book “The Blockchain Revolution.” The internship also features industry experts and professionals who will share their experience in the blockchain ecosystem.

Hands-on Learning Project

Upon completion of the internship, learners will prepare a strategic action plan in which they identify and evaluate promising applications of blockchain technology within the financial services industry. The objectives of this project are to:

  • Identify a specific need or problem in the financial services industry that can be solved with the help of blockchain technology.
  • Research possible solutions to this problem and develop a strategic plan for implementing the solutions.
