This specialization addresses public health challenges and the role of innovative solutions in addressing them. It is intended for public health professionals, early-stage entrepreneurs and innovators, as well as those interested in understanding the role of innovation in the healthcare industry.
At the end of the internship, you will be able to consider a particular innovation and explain its added value in a specific context and in a convincing manner.
Learners will create entrepreneurial-style presentations to persuade audiences to embrace healthcare innovation. They will analyze good and bad examples, write and test presentation scripts, and learn the science of persuasion.
In addition, learners will evaluate and discuss healthcare innovation from a variety of countries around the world, using the knowledge they have gained about innovation characteristics, types of innovation, intellectual property, adoption, and scaling up.
