This course addresses these needs and invites you to a place of contemplation at the intersection of fandom, popular culture, and digital media. We will explore the products of popular culture and the fandom networks that support them.
The course will give you the tools you need to improve your understanding of digital media and define, shape, and transform your identity as a fandom in digital spaces. It is a celebration of you and your communities, what you love, and how that love can unite people to change the world.
The projects in this training series challenge learners to reflect deeply on their experiences, practice close reading, analysis, and interpretation skills, and express their fandom in thoughtful and creative ways.
