Internship – 3-part course series

This specialization offers an introduction to the study of abnormal psychology, including an overview of different types of mental health problems from modern and historical perspectives. It concludes with an opportunity to experiment with behavioral change in your own life through an overview of scientifically supported treatment strategies.

It is important to note that this internship is not intended to replace psychological therapy or formal psychiatric training. Through a series of lectures, readings, and reflective projects, you will learn the basic principles of:

  • Basic tools for making desired changes in your life

Hands-on Learning Project

Throughout the three courses, you will be asked to engage in reflective strategies and journaling – which you can share or keep to yourself, as you wish.
