Internship – a three-part course series

A new paradigm in entrepreneurship has replaced the model of startup institutions in Silicon Valley with laptops and distributed networks. In this new paradigm, founders, partners, and critical startup resources are available for acquisition anywhere, anytime. New technologies can be easily targeted to customers, markets, and distribution channels around the world, while maintaining the same infrastructure and basic entrepreneurial principles and practices. Technology Entrepreneurship will provide learners with the knowledge, skills, and practices required to create and launch a new technology company and compete successfully in this new paradigm.

The specialization in technological entrepreneurship will be of interest to learners who:

  • Always wanted to start a technology business
  • Interested in joining a technology startup company?
  • Frustrated with traditional jobs and field work that does not generate profits for them and want to learn more about entrepreneurship
  • Seeking deeper meaning and passionate about improving the world

Academic credit

The specialization in technology entrepreneurship can be completed for academic credit as part of CU Boulder’s Master’s in Engineering Management (ME-EM) degree, offered on the Coursera platform.
