This internship is designed for engineering students to learn engineering mathematics independently. We expect students to already be familiar with one-dimensional calculus and computer programming. During the internship, students will learn:
This will provide them with the tools to effectively apply mathematics to engineering problems and prepare them for advanced engineering studies. To better understand what this specialization offers, jump to watch the promotional video!
Learners will write MATLAB programs to solve a computational fluid dynamics problem of flow around a cylinder. By the end of the “Mathematics for Engineers: The Capstone Course,” learners will be able to calculate the iconic Kármán vortex street.
