Mandarin Chinese 1: Chinese for Beginners is a course for beginners in the Chinese language. The course includes lectures, short plays, interactive exercises, and cultural tips to help students develop basic ability to speak Chinese in real-life situations. By the end of the 5-week course, students will have acquired the following knowledge:
This is a beginner’s course, so there is no requirement for previous courses.
Mandarin Chinese 2: Chinese for Beginners is a beginner course that follows on from Mandarin Chinese 1: Chinese for Beginners. It includes lectures, short role-plays, interactive exercises, and cultural tips to help students develop basic proficiency in speaking Chinese in real-life situations. By the end of the 5-lesson course, students will have acquired the following knowledge:
Course Requirements: Must have completed “Mandarin Chinese 1: Chinese for Beginners” or taken any Chinese courses of at least 15 hours.
Mandarin Chinese 3: Chinese for Beginners is a beginner course that follows on from Mandarin Chinese 2: Chinese for Beginners. It includes lectures, short plays, interactive exercises, and cultural tips to help students develop basic proficiency in speaking Chinese in real-life situations. By the end of the 5-lesson course, students will have acquired the following knowledge:
Course Requirements: Must have completed “Learn Mandarin Chinese 2: Chinese for Beginners” or taken any Chinese courses of at least 30 hours.
Learning Mandarin Chinese: Final Project is a beginner course that continues Mandarin Chinese 3: Chinese for Beginners. In this course, students are required to complete a number of tasks that use the Chinese language in simulated real-life situations. Information will also be provided on how to pass the HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test). Upon completion of the course, students will have completed the learning series and taken the first step towards an intermediate level in the Chinese language.
