Internship – Series of 3 courses

This course series introduces cloud data and Looker to those interested in becoming a Looker developer. It includes background on how data is managed in the cloud and how it can be used to create value for the organization.

Hands-on Learning Project

The second course includes hands-on labs with Looker to develop skills in data analysis and visualization:

  • Lab 1: Working with dimensions, measures, filters, and pivots to query, select, and visualize data in Looker using Explores.
  • Lab 2: Using table calculations and simplifications to instantly create new metrics from data with Explores.

In the third course, there are practical labs focused on developing LookML skills:

  • First lab: Creating dimensions and measures in LookML and learning about the different data types that LookML supports.
  • Lab 2: Creating and saving derived tables in LookML to create new tables that do not already exist in the base database.
