During this internship, we will explore, prevent, and combat JavaScript-related attacks and learn how to build more secure JavaScript applications. JavaScript is a foundational technology for building web applications and is also popular for developing server-side, desktop, and even mobile applications. The majority of this internship will focus on client-side JavaScript; however, we will also explore Node.js. Upon completion of this internship, you will understand the diverse threats and defenses in the JavaScript world.
We will put your newfound knowledge of JavaScript security into practice with an exciting project focused on identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities and then fixing them!
This course is an overview of secure JavaScript programming. It provides the student with an introduction to JavaScript security and covers important topics such as authentication best practices and refreshers on JavaScript, web browsers, and Node.js.
