Internship – 4-part course series

With a specialization in electronic music production, you will learn the secrets behind creating high-quality, professional-sounding music. You will begin by learning about the nature of sound and how a signal flows through a home studio.

Additionally, you will learn how to create custom musical sounds through music synthesis. You will explore how to record MIDI and real instruments within the flexible and agile digital workstation, Ableton Live.

You will also learn to record, produce, edit, and mix vocal tracks professionally with Grammy-winning producer Prince Charles Alexander.

Hands-on Learning Project

In the first course in this training, Music Production Technology, you will be asked to create a presentation on a topic of your choice. Then, you will produce and record original music using real instruments, MIDI, custom synth patches, and effects such as equalization, compression, and reverb.
