Internship – 5-course course series

By 2020, the world will generate 50 times more data than in 2011. And the number of sources of information will increase by 75 times (IDC, 2011). The ability to use this data offers many opportunities, and achieving them requires using data to solve problems.

This internship, in collaboration with Tableau, is designed for data visualization beginners who have no prior experience using Tableau. We use the Tableau resource library to introduce best practices in data visualization and data storytelling.

What you will learn during the internship:

  • Using Tableau to create high-impact visualizations.
  • Implementing predictive analytics to improve business decision-making.

The internship culminates in a final project in which you will use sample data to create visualizations, dashboards, and data models, and prepare a presentation to the senior management of a fictional company.
