Upon completion of the course, you will be taken to the Meta Career Programs job board – a job search platform that connects you with over 200 employers committed to recruiting talent through Meta’s certificate programs, as well as professional support resources to help you with your job search.
In this program, you will learn:
How to code and build interactive web pages using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
Design skills are required to create professional page layouts using industry-standard tools like Bootstrap, React, and Figma.
GitHub repositories for version control, content management systems (CMS), and how to edit images using Figma.
How to prepare for technical interviews for Front-End roles.
Finally, you will apply your new skills by completing a real-world project where you build your own front-end application. Hands-on Learning Project
Throughout the program, you will engage in hands-on activities that offer opportunities to practice and apply what you have learned. You will complete practical projects that you can present in job interviews and on relevant social networks.
At the end of each course, you will complete a project to test your new skills and ensure you understand the criteria before moving on to the next course. There are 9 projects where you will use a lab environment or web application to complete tasks such as:
Editing your biography page – using your skills in HTML5, CSS, and UI frameworks.
Project management on GitHub – using Git version control, Git repositories, and the Linux terminal.
Building a static version of an app – apply your understanding of React, frameworks, routing, hooks, bundlers, and data pulling.
At the end of the program, there will be a capstone project where you will put your new skills together to create your own front-end application.
