Installing Tidio on your website is a quick and simple process. You have two options for installing Tidio: by adding the Tidio Plugin to your web platform or by inserting JavaScript code into your website code.

Installing the Tidio Plugin

For the easiest and most convenient method of installing Tidio, search for Tidio in your web platform’s app store. If you prefer step-by-step instructions, follow the quick installation guide below, depending on your platform:

If you can’t find your platform, don’t worry! You can still install Tidio using the JavaScript installation method.

Installing JavaScript code

To install Tidio using the JavaScript method on your website, you will need to create a Tidio account. To create a Tidio account, go to our website, tidio.com , and click the Get Started Now button to create a new account. You can also use the Sign In option to sign in with your existing account.

The installation process is very simple and requires you to paste a single line of code in the appropriate place in your website code.

To install Tidio via JavaScript method:

1. Find the installation code

You can find your unique JavaScript code for Tidio by going to Settings> Live chat> Installation . If you don’t see the code right away, click the Open Code section link:

Under the Manual Installation tab you will see Tidio’s unique installation code:

You may also see this code at the last step of your account creation tour, but you can find it in the section shown above at any time. While this may vary depending on how your site is built, the general rule is to look for files with a .html or .php extension. Typically these will be either index.html or index.php, but there may be additional sub-files as well.

6. Remember to save the changes

Save the changes, and that’s it! Now, test your site and enjoy using Tidio 🙂

7. Test your website

Go to your website, and check if you see the Tidio chat widget. Great! You have successfully integrated Tidio Chat with your website! 🙂
