How to use TradingView on Crypto Hopper
This article explains what TradingView is and the differences and similarities between using it and the regular bot.
What is TradingView?
TradingView is a charting platform. With the TradingView service , you can send signals to a bot via TradingView alerts using WebHooks. TradingView alerts work with Explorer, Adventurer, and Hero bots on subscriptions . Therefore, a paid Cryptohopper subscription and a paid TradingView account are required.
Differences with the regular bot
Trades opened by TradingView alerts do not follow all Baseconfig settings. This is intentional behavior. The Baseconfig settings that will not be followed are:
Trailing Stop-Buy, Dollar Cost Averaging, and Shorts. When using TradingView alerts, the bot will not open Trailing Stop-Buy, Dollar Cost Averaging, and Shorts orders.
When using TradingView alerts, there is no limit to the currencies selected in Baseconfig.
Similarity with the regular bot
The characteristics of the Baseconfig being considered are:
- Stop Loss,
- Trailing Stop Loss,
- Take Profit,
- Auto-Close.
Total number of open positions
Cryptohopper will check the total number of open positions your subscription allows :
Pioneer: Not available
Explorer: 80 open positions
Adventurer: 200 open positions
Hero: 500 open positions
