Subscription

The first thing to check is your subscription. Do you have a Hero subscription? If not, you can purchase one here. If you do, make sure it is connected to the correct bot. For more information on how to link a subscription, click here.

Running your bot

Check if your bot is enabled. This can be found in your dashboard.

The first pass

Shows whether your bot is hidden or not. When your bot is turned off, no information will be received from the exchange and will not be sent to your exchange. That is, your bot does not work because information cannot be pulled from your exchange.

The second passage

Not applicable if you used the Market Arbitrage bot.

The third passage

Shows whether Market Arbitrage is enabled or not. If enabled, your bot will automatically buy and sell based on your Baseconfig. If disabled, no trades will be opened.

API keys

Check your API keys. The next thing you need to check is your API keys. We have documentation on how to connect your bot to your exchange. For more information, click here. It is recommended to follow the guide for your exchange. Each exchange has a different setup, so it is important to check the appropriate guide. If you do not see any errors related to API keys in the output, your bot is connected to the exchange. If you see any error messages, check what you did wrong.

Assets

Check your assets. You can see your bot’s assets on the dashboard. It is recommended to hold at least 2 quote currencies and a variety of additional currencies. The Market Arbitrage bot operates on a single exchange. Therefore, there is no need to hold assets on additional exchanges. The Market Arbitrage bot operates on multiple exchanges. It will execute trades where the profits will be the highest.

Baseconfig

Make sure you have set up your Baseconfig. Fill in the amounts under Currencies and Amounts.

It is recommended to use a sell percentage between 5 and 20%. This ensures that there will be enough assets to execute another trade for the same trading pair. By using smaller amounts, you increase the chance that the bot will continue to execute a trade. This helps balance the amount you have on both exchanges. This way, there is no need to manually transfer assets between exchanges. Sometimes one exchange always shows lower prices while another shows higher prices. When this happens, assets must be transferred manually. 100% cannot be used as a fixed sell amount. Make sure to choose a minimum amount for each market (quote currency).
