How to set up a trading bot with the Crypto Hopper app

This guide shows how to set up a trading bot with an iOS or Android app and explains the settings that need to be filled out.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, check the following:

  • Have a Cryptohopper account.
  • There is an Explorer, Adventurer, or Hero subscription model from Cryptohopper.

Setting up a trading bot

  1. Click on the name of your bot at the top of the app.
  2. Click on “Add new bot”.
  3. Select the exchange you want to use by clicking on it.
  4. Fill in your API Keys or click on “Paper trading”.
  5. After you have filled in the API Key, click “Check validity”.
  6. Choose whether you want to “Follow signals” (a) or set up a “Trading bot” (b). A. Select Signaller by clicking “Select”.

    B. Select your risk level by clicking on the desired level.
  7. Now you have an overview. Check if everything is correct. If not, go back and change or click “Start trading”.
  8. If you want to see all the settings, click on the bot you just created.
  9. Click the settings button in the upper right corner.
  10. Click on “Baseconfig”.
  11. Click on “Basic settings” and fill in the fields.
  12. Click “Exchange” and fill in the fields. Click “Save”.
  13. Click on “Notifications” and fill in the fields. This tab is optional. Click “Save”.
  14. Click “Buy settings” and fill in the fields. Click “Save”.
  15. Click on “Coins and amounts” and fill in the fields. Click “Save”.
  16. Click on “Strategy” and fill in the fields. Click “Save”.
  17. Click on “Trailing Stop- Buy” and fill in the fields. This tab is optional. Click “Save”.
  18. Click “Sell settings” and fill in the fields. Click “Save”.
  19. Click on “Sell strategy” and fill in the fields. Click on “Save”.
  20. Click on “Stop-Loss” and fill in the fields. This tab is optional. Click “Save”.
  21. Click on “Trailing Stop-Loss” and fill in the fields. This tab is optional. Click “Save”.
  22. Click “Auto close” and fill in the fields. This tab is optional. Click “Save”.
  23. Click on “Shorting settings” and fill in the fields. This tab is optional. Click “Save”.
  24. Click on “Dollar Cost Averaging” and fill in the fields. This tab is optional. Click “Save”.
