To enable your bot to communicate with HitBTC , you will need to create an API Key. This key acts as a link between Cryptohopper and the exchange, allowing your bot to perform tasks such as placing automated orders and accessing your balance for calculations. Essentially, the API Key is a way for your bot to communicate with the exchange and perform the actions required for automated trading.
The Cryptohopper installation process may fail when connecting to HitBTC, even if your API Keys are correct. Common reasons are: there are no funds in your exchange account, there are no funds in your trading account (as some crypto exchanges distinguish between funding and trading accounts), or you are not a verified user on the exchange (KYC). In this case, click ‘Continue without testing’. You can always review your API Keys later in the basic settings.
First step
If you haven’t already, go to the HitBTC website and create an account.
Step two

Verify your account and start working with the API by navigating to “Settings” and then “API Keys.”
Step three

Click “New API Key.” To connect your HitBTC account with Cryptohopper, you will need to copy the API Key and API Secret displayed on HitBTC and paste them into the appropriate fields in Cryptohopper. Once you have done this, make sure to save your basic settings.
Step four

Provide a name for your API Key, enable all options except “Withdraw cryptocurrencies,” then click “Save.” Give the bot some time and your funds will appear.
Can’t see the stock market balance
If you are unable to see your exchange balance, there may be some issues preventing your bot from syncing with the exchange. One common reason is that “autocomplete” is enabled in your browser. To fix this, you can try disabling autocomplete, using incognito mode, using a different browser, or disabling your password manager.
