To enable your bot to communicate with BingX , you need to create an API Key. This key acts as a connection between Cryptohopper and the exchange, allowing the bot to perform tasks such as placing automated orders and accessing your balance for calculation. Essentially, the API Key serves as a means for the bot to communicate with the exchange and perform the actions required for automated trading.
You may encounter an error during the Cryptohopper installation process when connecting to BingX, even if your API Keys are correct. Common reasons for this include insufficient funds in your exchange account, insufficient funds in your trading account (since some exchanges differentiate between funding accounts and trading accounts), or failure to verify as an exchange user (KYC). In this case, click ‘Continue without testing’. You can always test your API Keys later in your basic settings.
First step
If we haven’t done so yet, go to the BingX website and create an account.
Step two

Verify your account and get started with the API by navigating to your user profile and then to API Management.
Third stage

Click “Create API”, select the account, give it a name, enter the email code and Google Authenticator code. Stay with the primary account unless you are using secondary accounts.
Step four
Click “Edit” and enable “Spot Trading”. If you are using a sub-account, click “Manage Subaccounts”.
Fifth stage

Go to Cryptohopper and copy the IP addresses displayed. Return to BingX and select “Restrict access to trusted IPs only.” Paste the copied IP addresses here and click “Add.” Adding IP addresses is required for a secure connection with Cryptohopper, ensuring that trading can only be done on your behalf from Cryptohopper’s servers.
Avoid clicking “Save” yet.
Step Six

Copy the API Key and API Secret from BingX and paste them into Cryptohopper.
Seventh stage
Return to BingX and save the API Key. Enter the email verification code and Google Authenticator code. Then, click ‘Connect to BingX’ in Cryptohopper.
Your trading bot is now connected to BingX. Please note, it may take some time for your funding to appear.
Unable to see the stock market balance
If you are unable to see your exchange balance, there may be some issues preventing your bot from syncing with the exchange. A common cause is that your browser has the “auto-fill” feature enabled. To fix this, you can try disabling auto-fill, using incognito mode, using a different browser, or disabling your password manager. For more information, you can watch the Cryptohopper Academy video on this topic or check out our troubleshooting article.
