How to connect KuCoin to Crypto Hopper
To enable your bot to interact with KuCoin , you need to create an API key. This key acts as a link between Cryptohopper and the exchange, allowing your bot to perform tasks such as placing automated orders and accessing your balance for calculations. Basically, the API key is a way for your bot to communicate with the exchange and perform the actions required for automated trading.
You may encounter an error during the Cryptohopper login process when you try to connect to KuCoin, even if your API keys are correct. The most common reasons are that there are no funds in your exchange account, there are no funds in your trading account (since some crypto exchanges separate funding accounts from trading accounts), or you are not a verified user on the exchange (KYC). In this case, click ‘Continue without testing’. You can always test your API keys later in your base configuration.
First step
If you haven’t already, go to the KuCoin website and create an account.
Step two
Verify your account and start working on the API by going to API Management.

Third stage
Click “Create API”,

Step four
Create a unique name for your API key, create a strong API password, and select “Trade” to enable trading on your KuCoin account. There is no need to enable additional API restrictions, and Cryptohopper will never ask for “Withdrawal” or “Universal Transfer” rights.

Fifth stage
Go to Cryptohopper and copy the IP addresses displayed, paste them into the KuCoin API key. Then click “Next”.

Step Six

Enter your security details and click “Confirm.” Don’t click “Confirm” a second time yet, as there is one more step to complete.
Seventh stage

Enter your API Key, API Secret, API Password and click “Confirm” on KuCoin and “Save” on Cryptohopper. Your exchange connection is now ready and you can start trading.
Inability to see the stock exchange balance sheet
If you can’t see your balance on the exchange, there may be issues preventing your bot from syncing with the exchange. A common cause is that “autocomplete” is enabled in your browser. To fix this, you can try disabling autocomplete, using incognito mode, using a different browser, or disabling your password manager.
