How to connect Crypto.com to Crypto Hopper
To enable your bot to communicate with Crypto.com , you need to create an API Key. This key acts as a link between Cryptohopper and the exchange, allowing your bot to perform tasks such as placing automated orders and accessing your balance for calculations. In other words, the API Key serves as a means of communication for your bot with the exchange to perform the actions required for automated trading.
You may encounter an error during the Cryptohopper installation process when connecting to Crypto.com, even if your API Keys are correct. Common reasons for this include insufficient funds in your exchange account, insufficient funds in your trading account (as some crypto exchanges differentiate between funding and trading accounts), or you have not yet verified your identity with the exchange (KYC). In this case, click ‘Continue without testing’. You can always test your API Keys later in your basic settings.
Generate API Keys for Crypto.com
First step
Before you can create API Keys, you need to make sure that 2FA (two-factor authentication) is set up. Go to your profile and select the security option. Under two-factor authentication, you will find the button to enable 2FA. Check out this link for more information.
Step two
The API Key is required to send and receive data between Crypto.com and Cryptohopper. This will allow your trading bot to trade automatically, while keeping your wallet safe on the exchange.
Creating an API Key generates a public key and a secret key for accessing the API level on the exchange. The secret key is revealed when it is first created; however, after refreshing the page or navigating to another location, the secret key will be hidden for security reasons. If you have forgotten your secret key, you must create a new one.
Click on your profile (in the upper right corner), select “Security”, then API Keys.

Third stage
Click on “API Keys” and then “Create a new API key”.

Step four
Select “Create a new API key”, enter a description/nickname, and type your 2FA code.

Fifth stage
Make sure “Enable trading” is selected, and whitelist the IP address shown in your Cryptohopper account when you select Crypto.com as your exchange. Copy and paste the IP address.

Step Six
Copy and paste the API Keys into your trading bot. Save the keys on Crypto.com, then click ‘Save’ in Cryptohopper. Your balance should appear shortly, and you’re ready to start trading.

Can’t see your balance in Barça?
If you are unable to see your balance on the exchange, there may be a number of issues preventing your bot from syncing with the exchange. One common reason is that your browser has auto-fill enabled. To resolve this, you can try disabling auto-fill, using incognito mode, using a different browser, or disabling your password manager.
