You can block visitors during a chat session based on their IP address. Visitors you block will not be able to see the Tidio chat widget installed on your site. This can be undone later in the settings panel.

Blocking a visitor

To block a visitor, enter the chat conversation with the selected visitor. On the right side, you will see the visitor’s details. Click on the dots menu and select the Block Visitor option.

The visitor is now blocked. You can see all blocked visitors (their email address) in Settings.> general> Project and billing> Preferences> Visitors are blocked .

Unblocking a visitor

To unblock visitors, go to Settings> general> Project and billing> Preferences> Visitors are blocked .

Click the Unblock button next to the blocked visitor’s email address. The visitor can now write to you again, and the message will appear in the Unassigned folder.
