By default, any website that uses push technology asks for permission from visitors to notify them. We’ll demonstrate how to enable Tidio notifications in your browser.

Checking messages on Tidio

When you first visited the Tidio dashboard, we asked you if you would like to allow or deny notifications. If you enabled them during your visit to the site – everything is fine! However, if you did not enable notifications – you should unblock them. This way you can be sure that you will not miss any live chat!

To enable notifications in Tidio, go to Settings> personally> Notifications Make sure the sound is set next to each notification you want to receive.

With Tidio you can also easily check if your browser is blocking the messages. Use the blue Send a test message button in the same area.

If your notifications are enabled, you will receive the test message from the site. If they are blocked – a message from Tidio will appear on your screen, saying that the browser is blocking the notifications.
